Lakeshore Psychology Clinic is a psychology practice in Oakville, Ontario specializing in providing outcome-orientated, evidence-based and individualized psychological assessments and treatments. Remote services are available to clients across Ontario.

Lakeshore Psychology Clinic was founded by Dr. Oksana Gravets. Dr. Gravets is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO), Ontario Psychological Association (OPA), the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT) and the American Psychological Association (APA). 

The clinic provides one-on-one psychological assessments and psychotherapy services to adults (age 18 and up). An integrative approach to psychotherapy is used. This approach expertly combines different evidence-based treatment models to fit the unique needs and goals of the individual. The latest research is implemented based on the presenting concerns. This results in clinically efficient, scientifically validated and personalized approach to treatment. 

 

The evidence-based treatment models drawn from include Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Therapy and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Trauma-specific approaches such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) are also offered.

A wide range of difficulties are addressed such as depression, anxiety (social anxiety, panic, generalized anxiety, phobias), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, anger, work stress, insomnia, low self-esteem, chronic pain, relationship difficulties, bereavement and addictions.

The clinic provides WSIB Community Mental Health Program assessments and treatments for individuals experiencing work-related psychological trauma, and physical injuries. We also deliver assessments and treatments for individuals experiencing trauma-related difficulties including military veterans, first responders, RCMP, serving members of the Canadian Forces and the police. 

DUE TO CURRENT COVID-19 SITUATION SERVICES ARE BEING PROVIDED REMOTELY VIA SECURE VIDEO CONFERENCING OR PHONE. PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES ARE OFFERED TO CLIENTS ACROSS ONTARIO.
